STREAMS FORM WITH ELEVATION
WHERE WE'VE MADE AN IMPACT
EARTH FRIENDLY MATERIALS

The environment is something we care about. We will do everything possible to use materials that meet at least 1 of the following criteria with a goal of meeting all 3:
1. Previously Recycled
2. Recyclable
3. Reusable
LITTER REMOVAL

It's simple, for every
FROMSTREAM.TOBAY product sold, litter will be pulled from streams & coastlines. We want to reach 1,000,000 lbs. pulled by 2035!
CUT OUT PLASTIC

We strive to avoid plastic in our shipping materials and to minimize plastic based materials in our clothing.
When possible, using biodegradable materials for our clothing and packaging is our goal, such as cotton and paper. If plastic is used, we aim to used recycled materials.
LITTER & ITS IMPACT
*Micro-plastics occur when larger pieces are broken down into smaller ones from weathering, ultra-violet radiation and other forces.

MICRO-PLASTICS
& MARINE LIFE
Ingestion of plastics by seabirds, fish, sea turtles and marine mammals have been widely documented. These small plastics are often mistaken for food by marine life. The most common threat is the release of toxic chemicals after ingestion which in many cases leads to death.

HUMAN HEALTH
Toxic chemicals are released as plastics break down in the environement. Animals that consume plastics can absorb these toxic compounds and transfer them to humans during consumption. Studies show that
25 - 55% of ocean species consumed by humans ingest plastic pieces and fibers.

LOCAL ECONOMIES
The ingestion and entanglement in debris can kill fish valuable to local economies. During a study, in southern California alone, over 100 species of fish were found dead from plastic ingestion.
Studies show litter costs West Coast tax payers a total of $250 million a year for local litter clean up and prevention.

HABITATS
As marine litter accumulates, habitat structures may be modified, light levels reaching the bottom reduced, and oxygen levels depleted. Aquatic life is threatened by these changes as species depend on habitats for foraging and shelter.
